  8. 1. I believe, as long as we have a great amount of participation, it is very obtainable. The can food drive is just a small amount of proof of the good we can do. Maxwell's class alone raised over 6,000 cans.
    2. (1) All 3 million jars in the truck when we raise them.
    (2) Signs hung up around school/town about it

  9. 1. What do you believe about their goal? Is it obtainable or a bit lofty? Explain your
    answer.
Well, I do believe this could be costly but it will take a lot of determination to make 3 million. If everyone in this school spends money for like 10 jars of peanut butter; there are over 3 thousand students. So even if everyone did bring 10 jars it will only make a total of 30 thousand jars.

    2. Brainstorm a list of 10 possible photographs that you could take to document the story of the peanut butter drive.
    A. All the peanut butter jars could be stacked in the gym.
    B. We could take a picture of the people hosting the drive.
    C. We could show a huge like with students holding there jars in the hallway.
    D. We could have a peanut butter stand decorated in the hallway.
    E. We should make peanut butter costumes and take pictures of that.
    F. We could make a sign to Haiti.
    G. We could portray all the jars stacked in front of the school.
    H. A picture could be taken of all the different labels of peanut butter.
    I. Maybe we could take pictures of all the companies taking place in the drive.
    j. We could pick 5 students to stack as many PB jars on them and take a picture of it.

    3. Develop 6 questions for the PB drive organizers.
    A. What made decide that PB was the best food option to send?
    B. For how long will you continue to collect PB?
    C. Would you accept other foods if students brought them in? why or why not?
    D. How many do you think as a total would be brought in and why?
    E. How will this peanut butter help the people in Haiti?
    F. If PB wasn’t enough what other services could we provide to help the people in Haiti.

    4. Create 3 questions for those who choose to donate to the drive.
    A. How many did you bring in and why?
    B. What is your expectation on the help being provided for Haiti?
    C. Why did you choose to participate and was difficult for you to participate?

  10. 1. well i believe that our goal just might be a little to lofty because of the fact that they have set the goal a little to high and with the amount of kids that we have in the district that would be to many cans per kid to have to bring in.
    2. One way could be you have a picture of someone bringing a jar to the teacher, then have one of all the jars that they have gathered so far, you can have another one be the finished product, if we had like a reward for whoever brings in the most have their picture in there, and have some of a bunch of kids with boxses of jars.
3.How did you come up with th eidea of penut butter drive?Do you think personally that we will reach the goal, and why? do you feel we have set our goal to high, and why? how do you th ink we are going to get the penut butter jars to haidis? Why did you choose penut butter of all things? are you going to donate any cans and if not why?
    4. Why did you feel led to donate to the drive?Do you feelthat this drive is a good or bad thing personally? Do you think we will reach our goal of 3 million jars and why or why not?

  12. 1. I believe the goal is a bit lofty. There are about 8,000 kids in the school district, so if each student evenly brought in peanut butter jars, the math would work out roughly to over 350 jars each (Even though it's probably not going to be the student's sole responsibility). Parents also have households with more than one child enrolled in the school system.
    2. Mrs. Duncan and Mr. Maxwell,
    Posters advertising the drive?,
The stores of peanut butter (where the jars are kept),
    Peanut Butter shelves at stores,
possible encountered problems with the high goal,
    competition and rewards?,
students donating (cliche but it works),
students and faculty being recognized for effort (i.e. newschannels)?,
    somebody eating peanut butter,
photo that illustrates just how big a number 3,000,000 is.
    3. What motivated you to begin collecting jars of peanut butter to send in a relief effort for Haiti?
Why did you choose peanut butter as the item to donate?
How did you set the goal at 3 million?
What would you do if the goal is not met in the three weeks the drive is scheduled to run?
Are you currently planning any competitions or rewards to motivate the students?
Has the Haiti earthquake affected you personally?
    4. What are your feelings about how high the goal has been set?
How many jars have you brought/plan to bring?
What motivated you to donate to the drive?

  13. 1. I believe that their goal is a bit lofty for Georgetown. Though many people would participate, I feel that people just simply wont have enough money/time to get enough peanut butter.

    2. 3. 1. How many jars have you collected so far?
    2. How much peanut butter do you plan to collect before it is time to donate it?
    3. What are some ways you advertised the donation schoolwide as well as townwide.

    5. Would you ever consider going on a trip to Haiti to help the rebuilding process when they are ready?
    6. How do you think this donation has affected students?

    4. 1. How much peanut butter did you donate, and was it worth the cost?
    2. Do you feel this donation has impacted others to give to less fortunate areas besides Haiti?
    3. How have you helped to spread the word to others about the donation?
